Christmas

What a mission :) - Christmas Eve was spent with my husbands Mum and family, BBQ dinner, Christmas day was spent at my step-sisters and my family, huge feast, Christmas afternoon was spent with my husbands Dad and then Boxing Day we accidently hit the sales (though at the smaller shopping centres to avoid the crowds), didn't really find anything, nothing in the shops suits me at the moment - very very annoying and then visited my husbands Gran. It's always nice to catch up with family but I think we're ready for a couple of do nothing days. Also with a birthday and christmas bubs got a million and one new toys to play with....

Dad's Jumper

Well I finally finished Dad's jumper but I forgot to take a photograph of it !?!!!? Anyway it was knit it Bendigo 12 ply Rustic Denim. Fairly plain jumper with a cable panel down the front. I've also finished a couple of other little things for charity - I'll post photos when I take them.

Shop Talk - Interweave Knits

Interweave Knits Winter 2008 has finally arrived from the US.....Yay



Some good patterns in this issue - though a bit weird flipping through looking at jumpers, scarves and hats in the middle of a blistering hot muggy Brisbane summer :)

Also more copies of Holiday Knits have finally arrived.

Coming soon I have some Lana Gatto 5ply Italian Cotton and a couple of patterns using this yarn, should arrive by Wednesday of next week. I love knitting with cotton so I'll have to restrain myself....

Socks

Finished these a couple of days ago, when I started them they were for me but I've since decided to give them to my Mum for Christmas.

Charity Socks

Finished my first knit4charity project - just some very basic kids socks, they were a good tv 'I'm to tired to think' quick knit.
My plan is to knit a few things, just a few kids things using left over bits of yarn and when an appropriate monthy charity comes up donate them to that.

Santa

I've decided that for Christmas Santa is going to bring me this -
